Junior Graphic Designer

Position: JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER OverviewPinckney Harmon is currently looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our team! In this role, you will work closely with a team of designers and account managers to meet the needs of a variety of clients. The Graphic Designer will apply art, design, and copy layout skills to create visually engaging concepts, including logos, promotional and branding materials, and other print and digital materials. You should be able to showcase a portfolio that spans various styles and industries, including but not limited to email marketing, social media assets, digital banners, branding, web design, and print collateral.ResponsibilitiesCreates original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified wayAbility to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time framesIncorporate changes recommended by Design Lead, Creative Lead, and clients into the final designAble to present designs and able to back up design direction/choice with valid reasoningCollaborates and consults with editorial staff, manager, art director, and/or other project participants to understand project assignment, audience, and intended messageChooses graphics, clip art, and stock photography, as appropriateFollow brand guidelines when selecting fonts for written copy; produce a sample layout for approval by client or other project participantsPrepares drafts of design work and provides samples to editorial or other appropriate staff or departments for reviewRevises projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback processQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related fieldMust live within a commutable distance to Charlotte, NCApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipProficiency in desktop publishing tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other Adobe programsAbility to work independently on an assignmentAbility to work collaboratively as a member of a team#J-18808-Ljbffr
