• A professional degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA-accredited university • High proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Microsoft Office, and InDesign, Revit • Be adaptable to change on a regular basis and able to work within a fast- paced office • Have a positive and professional attitude that mirrors the firm’s culture • Obtained or working toward NCIDQ and LEED certification/accreditation • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a highly-collaborative, deadline-driven environment • Exhibit a high degree of self-motivation and enthusiasm • Highly-organized self-starter and problem solver • Ability to demonstrate strong design and technical skills • Passion to undertake design challenges with a fresh approach • Professional verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts with imagination, creativity, and enthusiasm • Experienced in the process of furniture/furnishings/accessories/lighting specification • Proficiency in working on deadlines with multiple team members and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities • Strong graphic skills with the ability to hand sketch quickly • Support Design Team through preparing schematic plans, space plans and presentations • Prepare construction documents, technical interior architectural details and selection/specification of finish materials and furniture • Light fixture selection and documentation • Furniture, furnishings and accessories selection, and documentation • Create impressive client presentations using a variety of tools to clearly communicate concepts • Provide holistic design that considers scale, material, color, texture, lighting and furniture • Learn and become proficient in Company’s Procurement activities • Oversee resource library materials • Office Support as needed
