This role is responsible for shaping and maintaining brand standards, ensuring design consistency across all platforms, and elevating the firms visual storytelling. The Creative / Graphic Design Director partners with marketing, business development, architectural, and interior teams to deliver compelling, innovative design initiatives that align with strategic goals and reflect Kingscotts design-driven culture.Essential Responsibilities:Creative Leadership & Brand StewardshipLead the concept, design, and execution of marketing collateral, proposals, presentations, event materials, social media graphics, and website assets.Define, manage, and uphold brand guidelines across all touchpoints to ensure firm-wide consistency and integrity.Manage and evolve the firms visual identity platforms, including typography, color palette, imagery, and tone.Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices to keep the brand fresh, relevant, and forward-thinking.Collaboration & DirectionPartner with marketing and business development talent to transform strategies and ideas into compelling visual communications.Provide creative direction, constructive feedback, and mentorship to marketing design staff, interns, and external vendors.Collaborate across multiple project teams to integrate creative elements into client deliverables and project storytelling.Content DevelopmentOversee creative support for special initiatives, including mural concepts, environmental graphics, and the design of sculptural or artistic elements for interior spaces.Capture and curate high-quality photography to support marketing, social media, and project promotion efforts.Create graphics and design elements for video production and digital media.Operational ExcellenceManage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.Contribute to the overall marketing strategy by providing creative insight and recommendations that strengthen the firms brand presence.Non-Essential Responsibilities:Other duties as assigned.Supervision Received:Limited Direction: Works from overall policies, goals, and budgetary limits. Virtually self-supervising with direct accountability for final results.Supervisory Responsibilities:Advanced supervision: Determines work assignments, priorities, and procedures for subordinates. Provides training, mentoring, and coaching.Qualifications:Education: Bachelors degree in marketing, communication or other applicable creative arts studiesExperience: 10+ years of professional experience in graphic design, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role.Portfolio: Strong portfolio demonstrating brand development and expertise across print, digital, and multi-channel campaigns.Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); proficient with Canva, PowerPoint, and web platforms.Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Mindset: Visionary thinker with a passion for innovation, design excellence, and storytelling.Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Excellent communication and collaboration skills and abilitiesStrong creativity and storytelling skillsExcellent verbal, written, active listening, and presentation skills.Extremely proficient with editing content in various softwarePrior A&E firm experience; preferredPossess and demonstrate solid analytical and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in an energetic, fast-paced, ever changing, and challenging work environmentStrong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality visual resultsAt Kingscott, we believe in the power of design to transform communities and create meaningful experiences.
