We are hiring both part time and full time positions for Kohala Food Hub Team Members. Kohala Food Hub is an aggregator, distributor and online marketplace of locally grown and produced food in North Kohala. Kohala Food Hub helps build and support our farming community, economy, and regenerative agricultural practices that preserve the ‘āina. More information at: Kohalafoodhub.com Primary Duties: ● Cleaning and sanitizing at the aggregation location (workspace, delivery vehicle(s), food processing equipment and supplies) ● Assisting farmers with cleaning and sanitizing produce ● Packing and processing foods for distribution to community ● Delivering meals, food boxes and other groceries to household doorsteps ● Installing and posting various signage and flyers ● Social Media, Communications, Basic Graphic Design Skills a plus, but not required Requirements: ● Reliable, trustworthy and positive ● Strong customer service and interpersonal skills ● Able to follow directions ● Able to follow food safety instructions and Covid safety instructions ● Able to stand, walk, lift, push, pull, carry for long periods of time ● Comfortable working outdoors as well as indoors ● Self-starter: able to work well independently and with the existing team ● Reliable transportation Schedule: ● Part Time: Up to 20 hours/week. Mondays through Fridays with flexibility, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or as otherwise determined by the supervisor ● Full Time: Up to 40 hours/week, Mondays through Fridays ● Starting Salary: $18.00/hr ● Start: Immediate ● Length of Assignment: Through June 30th 2022, with potential for an extension
