**Program Overview**

As a User Experience CoOp, you will be part of the team to
develop the next generation of innovative products and ensure the solutions are
useful, usable and desirable.  Your daily activities evolve from understanding
our consumers’ needs, developing design solutions to evaluating and refining
the concepts. You will have the chance to work with other talented designers,
Human Factor researchers, engineering and marketing in an environment that
fosters a culture of curiosity, creativity, innovative problem-solving, and
cross-disciplinary collaboration. The ultimate goal will be to create products
that improve the level of gracious living for our customers. 

**What You’ll Do**

* Work with senior Human Factor researchers and Industrial Designers to support the development of new products as well as ongoing enhancements to existing products.
* Understand consumer needs and behaviors by assisting with user research for existing products, mock-ups, and prototypes, and participating in design critiques.
* Conduct and analyze secondary research, including trend reports, product reviews, and competitive benchmarking, while serving as an advocate for customers throughout product development.
* Create innovative user interaction designs for products and services that stand out in the marketplace and support meaningful customer experiences.
* Contribute to interaction design, build UX/UI prototypes, and write behavior specifications for both product UI and app UI experiences.

**Skills/Requirements**

* Currently enrolled in a graduate-level program in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology, or a related discipline.
* Relevant work experience in design research, user experience, interaction design, or a related field is preferred
* Proficient with digital design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, with a strong understanding of Android and iOS platforms.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly share research insights, design recommendations, and user experience concepts.
