The landscape designer must be thoroughly familiar with designing all aspects of landscape construction to include: Site analysis grading, drainage, plant selection. The landscape designer monitors the installation of landscape and irrigation projects daily and interfaces with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. • Able to conduct a thorough site analysis. • Able to analyze drainage and grading requirements. • Strong verbal and graphic communication skills, conceptual design, presentation graphics, hand drawing, construction documentation, working knowledge of local plant materials, soils, grading and drainage.
