Landscape Designer Wanted

We are seeking a landscape designer who will be involved in all aspects of project development and design including concept sketching, presentation preparation, schematic design, project administration and project management. The successful candidate will work closely alongside CEO and project manager to ensure designs are carried out from concept through construction. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES • Drafting and creation of enticing graphics • Design presentation development • Design research for projects from concept development to design detailing • Estimating • Communications with staff, vendors, and clients • Design coordination in the field • Preparation of construction documents, details & presentation drawings If you enjoy your work and can juggle varied tasks accurately and efficiently in a progressive, collaborative environment, we’d love to meet you. Here’s what you’ll need: QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS • Must be highly proficient in Autocad, Adobe Suite, Hand Sketching • Must be able to travel throughout NYC for site visits and meetings • Comfortable presenting designs to clients in person and over zoom • Strong organizational and communication skills • A passion for design • The ability to effectively communicate with clients and a wide variety of contractors and professionals • Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 • 3d software experience helpful • Regional plant knowledge a plus • Knowledge of construction methods useful
