Wide Format Print Production Manager This is an active position, the PM is on their feet most of the day, printing, cutting, finishing, constructing signs and display graphics, and managing the Production Department. Position Description Speedpro North Shore is a digital imaging production studio based in Skokie. This is an excellent position for a self-starter, someone who can work successfully with minimal supervision. Reviews work orders first thing to set up a daily schedule and lead production meeting with the owner and marketing manager to review and confirm work orders and corresponding deadlines o Production – manages all aspects of print production, laminating, mounting and finishing, etc. o Problem Solving- knows the printers and software well enough to problem- solve solutions and leverages the SpeedPro network of production managers to obtain advice when needed Design (10%) o Design- well versed in graphic design applications, good ability to translate a design order into an accurate proof for customers.
