Large Format Print Production Specialist

Digital Press Operator & Production Associate (Bilingual) Miami-Doral 8440 NW 64th ST Unit 2 Doral, Florida 33166 Digital Press Operator & Production Associate POSITION SUMMARY Established and very busy printing/marketing/production company seeking a full-time Digital Press \ laser and CNC Operator to become a long-term team member. This position will be primarily responsible for the production and installation of signage, banners, vehicle lettering and wraps, window graphics, and more. • Print Production Specialist is responsible for management of all aspects of the physical production, print file preparation and workflow of signs and graphics to include scheduling, coordination of labor and materials, hands-on print production and quality control • Set up and run print jobs • Perform daily start-up/shut down tasks • Perform daily preventative maintenance procedures • Run tests to evaluate print quality and equipment settings • Achieve proper print quality and maintain per customer specifications • Proficient in computer use and navigation • Excellent attention to detail • Demonstrate analytical skills and problem-solving ability • Mechanical aptitude • Team-oriented • Self-motivated and willing to learn • Able to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to distinguish colors • Design and create all types of signs - vinyl and digital as well as various outside service products or components • Mask, weed and apply vinyl to various substrates • Must be able to use an ProCut, tape measure, ruler, drills, and other production/installation tools efficiently • Properly load- operate a pressure laminator following standard safety precautions • Load and cut vinyl on a plotter • Output digital print graphics • Operate board trimmer, print trimmer or other finishing equipment. • Maintain machinery in good working order • Accurately fill in sign layout forms, price estimates and invoices • Apply window graphics & office signage • Keep a running inventory of all stock and supplies • Work inside and outside in various weather conditions • Maintain an organized, clean and professional workspace appearance at all times EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • Experience on Mimaki Eco Solvent and UV equipment • Detail oriented with good written and verbal communication skills for QC • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Ability to multi-task, communicate with others and meet printing deadlines • Reliable transportation required and Driver License. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS • Considerable amount of movement required • Lifting up to 50 pounds • Able to sit, stand or bend for extended periods of time • Must be able to stand, bend, and kneel on a regular, daily basis • Must be able to climb a ladder while lifting signs.
