Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Layout Designer to join our team! Responsibilities include:

Development and preparation of multi-dimensional layouts and detailed drawings of the semiconductor devices from schematics and related geometry provided by design engineeringWork may be completed through use of CAD equipmentChecks dimensions, writes specifications, and verifies completed drawings, art work or digitized plotsMay check design layouts and detailed drawings

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

Associates degreeMinimum 5 years of relevant layout experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externallyStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to quickly ramp on new systems and processesDemonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functionsAbility to take the initiative and drive for resultsStrong time management skills that enable on-time project deliveryExperience in advanced analog layout techniques for performance-sensitive designsFamiliarity with reliability, ESD, electromigration, and high-current layout considerationsExperience contributing to layout flow improvement, methodology development, or automationExperience mentoring junior engineers or leading layout execution for complex blocks
