Our company publishes multiple editions of a direct mail advertising magazine and also provides a variety of digital advertising solutions for our clients. Our environment is fast-paced, deadline-driven, and production focused. We produce a high volume of ads for each mailing and operate on 16 production deadlines annually across four publishers. Key Responsibilities Art Department Leadership Manage and oversee the daily workflow of the art department Supervise and coordinate work for two additional staff members Assign projects and ensure deadlines are met across all publications Maintain consistency, quality control, and brand standards Ad Design & Production Design high-volume print advertisements for magazine publications Create digital advertising content for online campaigns Prepare files for print production and digital distribution Work efficiently to produce multiple ad designs within tight deadlines Production & Workflow Manage incoming ad requests from sales staff Ensure all ads meet publisher specifications and deadlines Maintain organized file systems and production schedules Communicate clearly with internal teams regarding revisions and deadlines Required Skills & Experience Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite Adobe InDesign Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop Experience using Insite or similar print production workflow systems Strong background in print production and digital ad creation Ability to design efficiently in a high-volume production environment Excellent multitasking and time-management skills Strong attention to detail Proven leadership and team management experience Ability to stay calm and productive while working under pressure Work Environment In-office position located in Greensboro, NC Fast-paced advertising and publishing environment Occasional work-from-home flexibility may be allowed if sick or under special circumstances, but this is not a remote position What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who: Has a proven track record of reliability and strong work ethic Is comfortable working long hours when necessary to meet deadlines Can manage a team while maintaining their own production workload Thrives in a high-energy, deadline-driven environment Takes pride in producing high-quality advertising design quickly and efficiently Why Join Our Team Established and respected local company with over 35 years in business Stable industry presence and long-term client relationships Opportunity to lead and shape the art department Work in a collaborative, creative advertising environment Pay: $22.49 - $27.09 per hour Benefits: Retirement plan Work Location: In person
