Job Description:

As a Lead Graphic Designer at Orascoptic, you will be instrumental in defining and enhancing our visual brand identity across diverse platforms. This position merges innovative design thinking with practical execution to create impactful digital and print materials. We are seeking a strategic, collaborative, and detail-oriented designer with a strong record of developing successful brand systems and marketing campaigns that resonate on a global scale.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Oversee creative direction to ensure uniformity and brand integrity across all company channels.

Manage and enhance Orascoptic's visual identity standards.

Create captivating digital assets geared for web, social media, paid media, and email outreach.

Design print materials such as brochures, catalogs, packaging, and trade show displays.

Generate creative concepts and templates for product launches, global initiatives, and internal campaigns.

Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to transform business objectives into visually compelling solutions.

Work closely with external vendors, printers, and creative agencies as needed.

Contribute a seasoned perspective to the marketing team's creative strategy.

Stay updated on emerging trends in graphic design and visual communications.

Oversee the production process; develop specifications for printing and other production needs while ensuring quality control.

Manage graphic and photo libraries, maintaining accurate digital records.

Coordinate with internal teams to secure regulatory and legal approvals when necessary for marketing projects.

Job Requirements:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects).

A strong portfolio showcasing your work in brand development, digital campaigns, and print design.

Experience in photography direction, video editing, or motion graphics is a plus.

Familiarity with HTML/CSS or web design best practices is advantageous.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and advocate for creative concepts.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication or a related field, coupled with 5+ years of professional design experience, or a 2-year technical degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.

Proficient in developing integrated design, printing, and reproduction specifications.

Knowledgeable about printing processes, techniques, and materials.

Excellent quality control skills both pre- and post-production.

Understanding of graphic layout requirements and photography procedures.

Web design experience with working knowledge of web programming languages.

Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with excellent interpersonal skills.

The salary range for this role is $81,200 - $121,800, with total compensation that may include annual bonuses, medical/dental/vision benefits, and a 401K match. Actual compensation is based on diverse factors unique to each candidate.
