Lead Graphic Designer

Our client, a dynamic and growing entertainment company located in the scenic coastal city of Virginia Beach, Virginia, US , is seeking a creative and experienced Lead Graphic Designer to guide their visual identity and marketing efforts. This role is perfect for a visionary artist who can translate brand messaging into compelling visual designs across various platforms. The Lead Graphic Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating engaging graphics for digital marketing, social media, print collateral, event branding, and more. You will lead a small team of designers, manage projects from inception to completion, and ensure brand consistency across all communications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional design skills, a deep understanding of design principles, and proficiency in industry-standard design software. Responsibilities: Develop and implement creative visual concepts for marketing campaigns and brand initiatives. Design a wide range of graphic materials including digital ads, social media graphics, website assets, brochures, and event materials. Lead and mentor a team of graphic designers, providing guidance and feedback. Manage design projects from brief to final delivery, ensuring deadlines are met. Maintain brand consistency across all visual communications. Collaborate with marketing, content, and production teams to understand project requirements. Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies. Prepare design concepts for presentation to stakeholders. Oversee the creation and management of design assets. Contribute to the development of brand guidelines. Ensure high-quality execution of all design work. Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies when necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of professional graphic design experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role. A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional creativity and a wide range of design projects. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software. Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles. Experience in brand development and identity design. Strong project management and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities. Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.
