Lead Sign Maker

Blue Chip SignWorks is a growing company in the digital graphics, branding and signage solutions industry. As part of an industry-leading national organization, Blue Chip Signworks is a member of a network of over 300 locations nationwide. We seek a full-time, experienced Sign Maker to lead our sign design and production team. Additional Requirements: \\- Strong and current knowledge of the sign industry including products, substrates, media, and installation techniques \\- A desire to deliver quality-first projects to industry leading clients \\- Proven experience in large format digital printing and sign creation/application \\- Ability to coordinate production flows for CNC cutting and routing equipment. \\- Demonstrated skills in making the tradeoffs for great sign design, production, assembly, and installation for all types of signage including building and monument signs \\- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop \\- Spectacular creativity and design skills \\- Strong Computer skills \\- Effective communication skills both written and verbal \\- Ability and desire to work directly and professionally with customers \\- Demonstrated track record of estimating project deadlines, and meeting them \\- Ability to work independently but also collaborate with teammates \\- Positive can-do attitude, willingness to promote the vision and mission of the business The ideal candidate will also possess the following attributes: \\- Expertise in color management process \\- Experience working with workflow software for customer order, payment, and workflow tracking \\- Solid leadership and management skills, such as mentoring / training new team members and time and project management \\- Good habits around equipment and computer maintenance and setup (backups, file system, etc) The successful candidate will be expected to define and execute designs and production schedules.
