The Department of Art & Design at the University of New Haven invites applications for a non-tenure-track faculty at the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level in Graphic Design beginning Fall 2024. We seek a candidate with significant industry experience and the ability to mentor students for internships and professional practices. The University of New Haven is a private, top-tier comprehensive institution that provides students with a combination of a solid liberal arts education and real-world, hands-on career and research opportunities. • Demonstrated ability to teach a variety of graphic design studios and lectures integrating graphic design theory and digital technology in a NASAD accredited program. Qualified candidates should submit 1) a cover letter that includes a description of relevant qualifications, 2) statement of teaching philosophy and achievements, 3) a curriculum vitae, 4) a diversity and inclusion statement, 5) a portfolio of 10-15 labeled images/documents of professional, research and/or creative work as well as 10-15 labeled images of student work and 6) contact information for at least three professional references.
