Under general supervision, the Library Graphics Designer is responsible for performing general art work at a professional level, designing art and copy layouts for materials in television, newspapers, packaging, and more. • Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy; select style and size of type; and arrange layout based on available space and design principles. Required Qualifications • Associate’s of Arts Degree from an accredited college or university with preferable coursework in Graphics Design or a related field. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Office 365 and PowerPoint). • Knowledge of various graphics equipment including office printers, paper cutters, laminators, and oversize printers.
