The ideal candidate would have experience with Apple take-apart & troubleshooting to go along with a can-do attitude and craving for positive customer feedback. We grade culture fit, aptitude and an obsessive desire to please above experience. This is a 25-40 hr/wk (employee- choice), year-around, long-term position (generally 9:30am-5:30pm, M-F with some scheduling flexibility). > **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** * **troubleshoot & repair Apple gear:** diagnose & repair hardware and software issues * **serve the team:** thoroughly document all repair steps and client communication, keep customer equipment and parts well-organized, proactively identify issues, assist with back-office organization, contribute positivity to a happy workplace * **serve our customers:** provide secondary front- counter customer service, clearly communicate estimates, issues and results with clients in-person and by phone * **grow your knowledge:** expand your technical support and terminology skills, stay up-to-date on Apple news * **develop your role (as time affords):** take on business development projects, evaluate trade-in equipment, post to social media, streamline procedures, assist management, contribute your unique skills **TO QUALIFY YOU MUST HAVE:** * a passion for Apple technology * experience troubleshooting & taking apart Apple computers * an unwavering ethical compass * high resourcefulness & problem-solving skills * an anxiety-free eagerness to help people * friendly, fun, energetic & positive attitude (i.e. overall awesomeness) * excellent organization, attention to detail and compliance with company procedures * ability to calmly prioritize & multi-task in a dynamic (& occasionally stressful) environment * unwillingness to sit still when tasks can be found * punctuality & reliability * willingness to offer & ask for help * stakeholder mentality * eagerness to practice excellent hygiene and wear a mask at all times * commitment to pass Apple Certified Macintosh Technician testing within 90 days of joining **IT WOULDN'T HURT TO ALSO HAVE:** * customer service experience * bookkeeping, social media, graphic design, business education/experience * ability to walk, bike, bus or carpool to work (on-site parking in NOT available but _**mac tonic**_ will partially subsidize off-site garage/lot parking) * willingness to engage in witty banter ### **Please respond by email with your resumé, letter of awesomeness and hours requirements.
