Mardel - Graphic Designer

Mardel Christian & Education is searching for a Graphic Designer with a passion for innovative design. The position is located at our corporate offices in Oklahoma City. No relocation assistance provided. Responsibilities • Works closely with Team Leader and Senior Graphic Designer to meet project objectives in conceptualization and development of graphics and layouts • Creates designs with strong artistic sensibilities that satisfy a diverse array of projects • Versatile design abilities in branding and typography • Pitches creative concepts to Team Leader and Senior Graphic Designer • Completes all design assignments according to the needs of the clients and the Mardel customer while meeting the technical requirements of department standards • Meets all deadlines while juggling multiple projects • Maintains current knowledge of design trends • Solves problems proactively with patience and intelligence • Works closely with peers and sets a tone of partnership between teams • Maintains a clean and orderly workstation • Follows all Advertising safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment) • Contributes to team effort by fulfilling responsibilities with a positive attitude • Adapts to additional duties and tasks Note: Must Email Resume and 6 to 10 portfolio samples. Skills • Strong understanding of design and print production • Ability to self-start and work under minimal supervision • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks without effecting quality or polish • Strong typography and design skills • Strong branding skills • Excellent attention to detail • Strong time-management skills • Ability to work alone or with a team • Ability to accept and apply critique and feedback • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Ability to perform Key Responsibilities as described with or without accommodation Education & Experience • Bachelor’s in graphic design or a related field • Minimum of 3 years professional design experience
