Overview Job Description - Overview Mardel Christian & Education is searching for a Graphic Designer with a passion for innovative design. This full-time position is a unique opportunity for a creative, career-minded professional to work in a Mac environment as part of a dynamic design team. Works closely with Team Leader and Senior Graphic Designer to meet project objectives in conceptualization and development of graphics and layouts Creates designs with strong artistic sensibilities that satisfy a diverse array of projects Versatile design abilities in branding and typography Pitches creative concepts to Team Leader and Senior Graphic Designer Completes all design assignments according to the needs of the clients and the Mardel customer while meeting the technical requirements of department standards Meets all deadlines while juggling multiple projects Maintains current knowledge of design trends Solves problems proactively with patience and intelligence Works closely with peers and sets a tone of partnership between teams Maintains a clean and orderly workstation Follows all Advertising safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment) Contributes to team effort by fulfilling responsibilities with a positive attitude Adapts to additional duties and tasks Strong understanding of design and print production Ability to self-start and work under minimal supervision Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks without affecting quality or polish Strong typography and design skills Strong branding skills Excellent attention to detail Strong time-management skills Ability to work alone or with a team Ability to accept and apply critique and feedback Strong written and verbal communication skills Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Ability to perform Key Responsibilities as described with or without accommodation Bachelor's in graphic design or a related field Minimum of 3 years professional design experience
