Marketing Assistant

Lezyne USA, Inc. is an industry leader in the engineering and manufacturing of innovative bicycle accessories. Our California office is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our team in San Luis Obispo. General Description: The Marketing Assistant will collaborate with and assist the Worldwide Communications Manager with all things related to communications, website, digital media, social media, public relations, marketing (initiatives, strategies and campaigns) and collateral to consistently represent and communicate Lezyne’s mission, story and goals to raise Lezyne’s brand identity. The Marketing Assistant will also work closely with the Webmaster, Art Director, and the Sales and Marketing teams. Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist in strategizing, developing and promoting worldwide marketing campaigns • Assist in maintaining, organizing and expanding relationships with all media contacts (print and online) worldwide • Assist in growing relationships and activating brand awareness with ambassadors and sponsored athletes • Assist in maintaining, growing and creating content for all social media platforms • Assist in evaluating digital analytics for all social media platforms and developing new strategies to grow them • Assist in monthly marketing reports • Assist in website and blog maintenance—ensure that content is up to date and new content is posted regularly (news, reviews, stories, photo galleries, athlete content, events) • Assist in the development, distribution and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral including, but not limited to, newsletters, catalogs, e-newsletters, sales presentation, retail POPs, swag and website content • Assist with video, photo and graphic design production • Help manage and coordinate annual trade shows and events Education Requirements: • 2+ years in continued education in marketing or journalism Work Experience Requirements: • 2+ years of marketing work experience Special Skills and Abilities: • Must be a confident communicator and presenter • Must be knowledgeable of the cycling and outdoor industries • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in marketing, digital media and social media • Ability to work with Microsoft office programs, such as Word and Excel • Ability to work with Adobe creative programs, such as Photoshop and InDesign • Must be organized and possess strong time management
