Marketing Designer

Who we’re looking for: Our Marketing Designer position is designed for an innovative team player who is seeking hands-on experience with a rapidly growing company to expand their skill set in graphic and web design. As Marketing Designer, you will be responsible for designing visual content in print and digital formats. You’ll be known for creating a memorable brand identity, having a deep understanding of the customer experience, and delivering high-quality content. What you will learn and do: ● Creative direction and develop the Yoga Ed. brand identity ● Create and design various materials for print and web, including visual advertisements, landing pages, email campaigns, social media, blog and website graphics, toolkits, workbooks, case studies, infographics, data visualization guides, slideshow presentations, curriculum, lesson plans, and other educational and marketing materials ● Develop product illustrations, icons, logos, and other graphics as needed ● Determine voice and messaging for graphic design pieces ● Work closely with the development or marketing teams to refine the online experience ● Advise on best practices and optimizations of design projects ● Present designs to stakeholders and applicable teams ● Implement changes when appropriate ● QA design ● Pass final design to development or marketing teams for release What we require: ● Bachelor’s of Arts or 5+ years equivalent experience in Marketing, Graphic Design, Art, or a related field ● Portfolio of designs used in successful marketing campaigns ● Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, Squarespace, OS X, iOS, and Google Apps Suite ● Creativity and a positive can-do attitude ● Experience with both print and electronic media ● Organization skills, with keen attention to detail and time management ● Confidence working in a team as well as independently ● Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, yoga, education, and health and wellness industries Please send your cover letter and resume.
