Marketing & Events Manager

Graphic design experience is a major plus. Special Events This portion of the role will handle the marketing and promotion of resort and hospitality special events that are open to the public, including but not limited to posters, signage, social posts, ensuring accurate and timely listings on the website and local ads. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, work well in a group environment and must have passion for snowsports. This position is not a M-F, 9-5 job. Requirements: -Bachelor degree in marketing, communications or related field -2-4 years of marketing and/or event experience, preferably in the resort or travel/tourism industry -Some experience with media planning, overseeing graphic design direction, tracking results -Team player -Budget management -Project management -Strong communications skills -Attention to detail -Supports cross-functional departments to achieve financial success and growth -Ability to lift up to 50 lbs -Ability to multi-task and juggle many projects at once -Weekend and holidays may be required -Intermediate skiing or snowboarding ability
