Marketing & Social Media Assistant

Job Description: •Participate in online, social media, email-based, and in- store marketing for all departments within Sickles Market, Sickles Red Bank, Bottles by Sickles, and Sickles Celebrates •Utilize Microsoft Publisher to create internal and external signage and labels for Sickles Market, Sickles, and Bottles by Sickles; will be trained •Collaborate with all departments to determine Weekly and Good Stuff Specials for Sickles Market, Sickles Red Bank, and Bottles by Sickles •Execute daily social media posting on Instagram and Facebook; develop engaging content and stories to promote the Sickles brand and expand follower base •Routinely research related social media accounts and websites to remain on- trend with store and industry related topics •Assist customer service team with creating and building the Sickles Good Stuff Club, Sickles Market Planter’s Pass, and Bottles VIP customer membership programs •Participate in the organization of promotional events, product demos and special events such as Fall Festivals, Farmers’ Markets, Meet Santa, and Food and Wine Tastings; assist on-site with handing out demos, providing customers with product information, and fostering customer service •Stage product photo shoots, write copy, and team with marketing leaders to ensure the creative ideation of social media posts •Develop original videos to highlight store departments and celebrate the seasons •Work with E-Commerce & Marketing Coordinator to develop and implement content calendar planning •Perform website updates as directed by marketing management; WordPress experience a plus •Proofread and edit emails, newsletters, signage, and online posts for grammar and wording accuracy Ideal Candidate Should Have/Be: •Two Years’ Marketing and Social Media Experience •Motivated and proactive •A solid background running social media platforms and campaigns •An eye for aesthetic and graphic design •Experience with photography, videography, Microsoft Publisher, WordPress (preferred but not necessary) •Able work with the public and demonstrate outstanding customer service •An interest in food and plants What We Offer: •Long-term career in a fun environment with extensive growth potential •Competitive Hourly Salary •Health, Dental, and Vision Benefits •401k Plan •Store Discount
