DescriptionMaintain our branding and graphic standards working closely with the senior graphic designer.Collaborate and support architectural project teams to design visually compelling presentation and proposal (RFP) materials and customized content.Collaborate with leadership, human resources, business development, and other teams providing creative direction and developing visual materials supporting their work.Integrate brand messaging, color, imagery, type, and composition into all deliverables, including but not limited to proposals, PPT presentations / pitch decks, leave-behinds, brochures, resumes, project profiles, flyers, advertisements, job signs, invitations, event collateral / sponsorships, infographics, logos, awards, website updates, social media, and other marketing related materials, as well as internal promotional materials for both print and digital application.Create and maintain high-quality templates to promote consistency and continuity.Present your work and ideas to key stakeholders with clear commercial application and rationale.Proactively source information, content and direction from colleagues across the firm as necessary to complete a deadline.Establish and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, studio directors, practice leaders, construction administrators, and all teams across the firm.Assist in managing the design / inventory of in-house marketing assets via Open Asset platform.Maintain training and stay on top of current design trends, techniques, etc.Design and implement other special projects and tasks, as needed.Video editing / production skills and web design a plus.Be a resource to the firm and marketing team for graphic design needs, questions, tips & tricks.Requirements5 to 7 years professional design experience.Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, fine arts, marketing, or related field.Strong portfolio demonstrating knowledge of presentation and information design.Experience in an architectural, engineering, or construction firm preferred.Creative thinking, brainstorming, story-telling ability to craft concepts into compelling content.Proficiency in review of design details, such as typography, alignment, and hierarchy.Experience working with current and evolving digital technology and media, as well as print and production techniques to take a project from concept to completion.Highly organized and excellent time management with follow-through skills.Strong interpersonal skills with ability to provide excellent customer service (internally/externally).Strong attention to detail, quality, and process.Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.Self-motivated and ability to work independently, advance projects with minimal oversight.Thrives in an open, collaborative team environment.Able to travel to other MPS studios or client project locations as needed.Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately in a fast-paced environment.Expert user of Adobe Creative Suite.Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.McMillan Pazdan Smith is an equal-opportunity employer.
