Mechanical Designer/Drafter | Furniture Designer | Cabinet Designer Established in 2005, VCG Global, Inc. is a premier design, build and fabrication facility that integrates architectural design elements to finished millwork, decorative metalwork, and custom furniture. We strive to exceed our customers’ expectations; we challenge ourselves to design and build products with more refinement and design elements then our customers expect. We are looking to hire an experienced mechanical designer that can take customer designs to shop drawings and then to production. Experience Requirements: \\- Three (3) to four (4) years of mechanical design and fabrication experience \\- Two (2) years of hands-on fabrication experience: Furniture, Millwork, Cabinets, and/or Decorative Metal \\- Strong understanding of customer provided architectural drawings and preparing drawings for customer review and approval. \\- Experience with Adobe Suite – Illustrator (creating vector graphics) and Photoshop (image manipulation) \\- Rendering experience such as KeyShot \\- Operating Knowledge of CNC equipment is a plus \\- Operating Knowledge of CO2 laser equipment is a plus \\- Low voltage lighting experience is a plus
