Mid Level Designer

Fieldkit is seeking a mid level graphic designer with 4+ years of experience based in Pittsburgh, PA to join our full-time staff.

About us:

Fieldkit is a physical marketing agency built by printers, fabricators, designers, and project managers.

We help brands bring real-world campaigns and events to life. Our work is executed quickly, reliably, and beautifully designed.

This role will be working primarily with our clients on their sports marketing/event/physical goods projects (Hoka, Puma, Salomon, Nike, etc).

Candidates will report to the creative director on projects/campaigns. Candidates should demonstrate a refined ability to create meaningful research and decks, finished visuals, work within many different design styles and systems, have strong strategic instincts, and the ability to carry projects from concept through completion.

Skills:

In this role candidates will need to flourish at: print set up, packaging, designing and mocking up physical goods collateral, brand identity systems for events/races, excellent layout and composition skills, set type beautifully, pull together research and create decks, design well and work organized on rush projects, communicate promptly and professionally in client facing emails, can follow briefs and creative direction, and work with national clients in the sports and lifestyle sector.

Not required to apply, but the following skillsets are a plus: illustration, motion, animation, photography, or copy writing.

This position is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable working independently and collaboratively, and who partners seamlessly with designers, account managers, client's, and our warehouse production staff. You should bring strong organizational and communication skills, a thoughtful approach to problem-solving, and a clear desire to expand your capabilities and grow within the studio.

Additional Information:

This is an on-site position in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. No relocation package will be offered. This role is hybrid (2-3 days a in office) with about 1/4 of the year being able to be fully remote (weeks vary spread throughout the year).
