We are looking for a talented mid-level Animator & Editor to take our video projects to the next level. You live and breathe this stuff. As an editor with your always improving capabilities, you will seamlessly bring together all manner of project footage, stock video, graphics, animation, lower thirds, and closed captioning that leaves viewers saying, “More, please.” And as for audio? While this is a standard working- hour job, there may be times when working longer hours or on the weekend is required, pending deadlines and workloads at a given time. RESPONSIBLITES: Edit and/or animate video projects as needed, following specifications as outlined in a brief Input music, dialogue, effects, and graphics Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film Create rough and highly polished final cuts Deliver finals in accordance with the project timeline and budget Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process Continuously discover and implement new editing and animation technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency Maintain video projects on Pyramide server according to standard operating procedure Assist in maintaining company equipment QUALIFICATIONS: Proven work experience as a video animator & editor A strong eye for typography and layout design is essential Proficiency in Adobe Premiere After Effects -- Intermediate to Advanced skill level Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator (Adobe CC) Working knowledge of Cinema4D preferred Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to take direction and learn quickly Ability to work well with all kinds of people with various ideas and opinions Curious and excited by new techniques and a love to expand skills
