Defend and protect our warfighters' naval fleet and surface-based assets by developing advanced sensors, electronic warfare systems, and battle management technologies to counter evolving threats. The group is particularly interested in the development of: software-reconfigurable electronic warfare systems and prototypes, advanced signal processing algorithms for signal exploitation, resource coordination techniques for enhanced battle management, and artificial intelligence to enable the development of next-generation countermeasures, sensors, and enhanced human-machine teaming for fleet defense. Major activities within the group include concept development, systems analysis and architectures, algorithms design and development, hardware prototype system design and development, and experimental field testing and data analysis.The Group is seeking a Graphic Designer to produce a variety of graphic design and arts products, including presentation design, document design, poster design, information graphics, event materials, digital signs, technical illustrations, and photo manipulation.We require someone with professional experience in a technical research environment, with a proven ability to collaborate with technical subject matter experts to transform written, numerical, and existing content into compelling graphic representations. The candidate should possess effective time and project management skills and be able to work under tight deadlines and changing demands in a fast-paced environment.The primary focus will be on creating presentation designs.Must Have:The candidate must have experience with:Designing individual charts for presentationsReviewing presentations for adherence to company standards and DoD classification requirementsConcept review and storyboarding to help develop presentation ideasAdditional graphic design experience should include:Poster production for conferences, hallway displays, and eventsTechnical report and project memo designGraphic arts skills and experience should include:Creating information graphics like block diagrams, flow charts, and timelinesScenario illustrations of mission locations, test events, or plansTechnical illustrations of machinery, hardware, ships, vehicles, weapons, structures, and other technical itemsConcept illustrations of new technology, including electronic components, antennas, radars, and hardwarePhotographing hardware, electronic equipment, circuit boards, and micro componentsPhoto editing and retouching, including resizing, cleaning, and color correctionThe candidate must be proficient in the following software:Adobe IllustratorMicrosoft PowerPointFamiliarity with additional software is preferred:Microsoft Word and ExcelAdobe Premiere and Media EncoderApplicants must provide a portfolio demonstrating their skills and understanding in:Graphic design, typography, color theory, and information designTechnology-related illustrationHardware photographyPhoto editing and correctionOther relevant mediums or subjects demonstrating their talentEducation & Experience: Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant work experience.Work Authorization: US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.Key Skills: Graphic Design, Prepress, Order Management System, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Suite, Screen Printing, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, Adobe InDesign, TypographyEmployment Type: Full TimeExperience: 3+ yearsVacancy: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
