Motion Designer

Overview
We are looking for a Motion Designer to join our team. They will concept, design, and produce compelling motion graphics for use online, in-store, in-house, and in television broadcast. Apply your passion for animation and motion to solve challenging design problems and communicate stories, ideas, and information.

Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Associate's Degree in graphic design, motion graphics, animation, art, film, broadcast, media production, or related
* Must possess a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
* A willingness to adapt to new tasks each day
* Experience presenting creative to clients in a way they can easily understand
* Demonstrated ability to plan projects breadth – balancing quality, deadline and need
* Strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop
* Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
* Adapt as creative assignments change and evolve, while maintaining quality
* Ability to work under both strict and minimal direction
* Organized, dependable, Knowledgeable and detail oriented
* Include link to reel/ portfolio website that clearly demonstrates design and animation work

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Fluency with Adobe CC suite of products including After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Experience in 3D graphics and animation such as Cinema 4D, 3ds Max or other 3D package
Experience in visual effects such as motion tracking, rotoscoping and compositing
On-Set Video production experience a plus
Previous experience in Video Production, Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Advertising, or Marketing

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Storyboard, design, and produce animations which clearly explain the features and benefits of new and emerging technologies and devices
Work with Communications, Marketing, and Engineering staff to plan, manage, and complete requested projects
Work with project managers to hit critical project due dates and initiatives
Assist the Production Team with motion assets and deliverables for our worldwide markets

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Remain current on new tools, methods, and technologies within the motion graphic design field
Develop as a Motion Designer by leveraging the expertise of fellow team members, tutorials, and targeted education
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
