Motion Graphic Designer

About the position In this role, you will help bring stories to life through animation, 3D design, and visual storytelling that supports a ministry committed to sharing the hope of Christ. This is a dual role in that the motion graphic designer also helps aid in the production of 3D content for print, social media, and virtual reality production needs. Create moving content and graphics for various mediaWork with creative teams to incorporate design elements into a projectUse Adobe After Effects & Premiere Pro for motion graphics (MoGFX)Use Cinema 4D to create 3D contentBuilding & maintaining virtual reality sets and componentsEdit network spots, IDs, and other production content, as needed.Assist in studio with production as needed, to run cameras and drive virtual productions.Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education in media production or a related field preferred.Three (3) or more years of experience in network production or related college degreeStrong computer skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and ChyronHego Prime for live production character generation.Excellent planning and organizational, and time management abilities to oversee multiple projects and meet deadlines.Proficient in creating graphics, editing, video production, and remote production techniques.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both in oral and written formats.Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and achieving results.Strong decision-making abilitiesGood visual storytelling skills are a key to success for this position.Good time management skills as this position will often have several projects overlapping with various deadlines and levels of priority.Good layout design skills and understands the usage of contrast, repetition, alignment, & proximity to make information cohesive.Attention to detail is essential as the work produced often appears in print, video, & as digital content.Collaboration and good communication skills are a must.This position requires an individual that can work well in a group or alone.Healthy understanding of color theory is essential to telling a compelling story in a limited window of time.Ability to stand, sit, talk, and hear as needed for the role.Use hands/fingers for operation of equipment and tools.Close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception required.Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, carry, and reach.Nice-to-haves
