What You’ll Be Working On Creating high-quality motion graphics, animations, and illustrations for digital campaigns, web, social, and product experiencesDeveloping photorealistic 3D renders of Vivint products and environmentsDefining and building a scalable illustration system and visual style for the Vivint brandApplying and evolving illustration standards across web, mobile app, video marketing, lifecycle campaigns, and other digital channelsTranslating product features and concepts into clear, engaging visual narrativesProducing short-form animations and explainer content that simplify complex ideasCreating character-based animations and bringing illustrated or branded characters to life with strong timing, personality, and storytellingCollaborating with designers, marketers, and product teams to ensure visual consistency and brand alignmentContributing to concept development, storyboarding, and creative directionOptimizing motion and visual assets for performance across platforms (web, mobile, paid media)Staying current with emerging tools, techniques, and trends in motion design, illustration, and 3D rendering 3–6+ years of experience in motion graphics, illustration, or 3D visualizationExceptional portfolio showcasing motion design, illustration systems, and 3D/product rendering workDemonstrated ability to define and scale a visual or illustration style across multiple platformsStrong understanding of animation principles, including timing, weight, motion, easing, and character animation fundamentalsStrong grasp of lighting, materials, composition, and rendering techniquesExperience creating product-focused visuals or working with physical productsHigh level of craft, attention to detail, and creative judgment—we’re looking for someone operating at the top of their disciplineAbility to balance creative vision with technical precisionStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment NRG Energy is committed to a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
