About the position The Multimedia Designer is responsible for creating compelling visual and digital content that enhances brand awareness, supports business development efforts, and communicates the H. J. Russell story across multiple platforms. Responsibilities Capture professional photos of jobsites, offices, company events, and community initiatives.Produce and edit videos for projects, employee spotlights, client interviews, and event coverage.Manage multimedia equipment and maintain an organized digital asset library.Design and produce graphics, animations, videos, and interactive media for websites, social media, presentations, and marketing campaigns.Edit and enhance photography and video content for both internal and external use.Develop multimedia presentations, infographics, and digital assets that simplify complex ideas and improve audience engagement.Ensure creativity and innovation by researching and staying up to date on design trends, tools, and emerging technologies.Lead Social Media Strategy and implementation with marketing support.Manage and update the company website using WordPress/Elementor.Create landing pages, microsites, and campaign integrations that enhance user engagement.Ensure all web content aligns with Russell’s brand standards and supports lead generation.Support the Proposal Specialist and marketing team with graphics, layouts, and creative content for proposals, presentations, and pursuit interviews.Design infographics, charts, and visuals that communicate complex ideas with clarity.Assist in multimedia storytelling for proposal submissions and finalist presentations.Design graphics for social media, newsletters, event promotions, and thought-leadership campaigns.Support the Communications Specialist with digital content that engages external and internal audiences.Maintain consistency with Russell brand guidelines across all platforms.Collaborate with marketing, communications, and project teams to create visuals aligned with brand guidelines and strategic objectives.Partner with project teams and leadership to capture and highlight Russell’s impact on communities.Maintain consistency of design across all platforms, ensuring brand standards are upheld.Manage multiple projects and deadlines, delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.Requirements Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience)Proven skills in photography, videography, editing, and multimedia productionProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign)Experience with WordPress and Elementor requiredKnowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing best practicesStrong project management skills and ability to balance multiple deadlinesExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departmentsWillingness to travel for projects, job sites, and event coverage.Nice-to-haves
