We're looking for a Multimedia Designer to bring our storytelling to life across digital and retail touchpoints. They'll possess strong skills in both static and motion design and will help us move fast, think big, and execute beautifully. Founded in 2002 by James Beard Award-winning ice cream maker Jeni Britton-who introduced a modern, ingredient-driven style of ice cream making that revolutionized the industry, forever changing the way ice cream is made-Jeni's has emerged over the past two decades as the new standard by which all other ice creams are judged. OUR MISSION: Team Jeni's is a nationwide team of people who bring their talent, hustle, guts, resilience and empathy (lots of heart, too) to making better ice creams and bringing people together. Lead design execution across digital ads, email, social, motion graphics, and other key channels Turn creative direction into clear, effective, and scalable visual systems Design with purpose-delivering cohesive, brand-right layouts and assets Create motion assets (GIFs, animations, overlays) to support and elevate storytelling Edit short-form video content to extend static design work and bring ideas to life across digital platforms Collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to shape ideas and deliver high-impact work Bring a systems-thinking approach-streamlining workflows, creating reusable assets, and ensuring visual consistency Deliver optimized assets tailored to platform specifications, accessibility standards, and performance best practices Qualified applicants will have the following: 4-6+ years of experience in a fast-paced, design-forward environment-ideally with a brand, content, or digital marketing team A portfolio that highlights digital-first graphic design, supported by motion and campaign work Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and proficiency in Figma A keen eye for visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and design systems-and the ability to apply them across formats and platforms Experience optimizing creative for digital performance (file size, specs, accessibility, load time) Strong project ownership: detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities A collaborative, feedback-friendly mindset with a passion for pushing creative work beyond the expected Experience designing for high-volume content or campaign environments Curiosity, taste, and a passion for storytelling and building thoughtful, engaging work across platforms The position is eligible for the following benefits: Competitive compensation Excellent insurance (health, dental, vision) Paid time off, including sick, vacation, and holiday pay 401k participation and 4% match on 401k contributions after 3 months of employment A one-month paid sabbatical after 3 years of continuous service Annual paid day to volunteer for a non-profit organization that matters to you 50% discount at Jeni's Scoop Shops and online
