About the Agency The mission of the Virginia Department of Fire Programs (VDFP) is to serve the citizens of Virginia by enhancing public safety throughout the Commonwealth. The duties of this position include but are not limited to: • Support the Marketing and Communications Manager with maintaining the agency’s brand • Develop multimedia content strategies to include social media, internal communications content, and web posts. • Support the execution of special projects as directed by VDFP Executive Leadership • Coordinate the distribution of communications to the internal and external customers of VDFP.
