The role routinely supports communication efforts with other headquarters and field elements.Position ResponsibilitiesNewsletterProvide graphic design and layout of an internal digital newsletter each month. Fact sheets will be updated as needed throughout the year.BriefingsFormat and brand briefs for internal and external audiences as directed.Strategic Plan DocumentsDevelop graphics, images, design, and layout for the strategic plan, and input for annual strategy documents such as the Posture Statement.Event SupportProvide logistical support for approximately four events per year, including trade shows and other asset events.Provide graphics for pop‑up displays, expandable roll‑up displays, and various poster board–sized and smaller products throughout the year.Website SupportProvide web design, development, and content management support for public‑facing website.Provide governance support for the external website, including maintaining AFPIMS and web governance policies, coordinating content management, reviewing site for currency and compliance, participating in web planning meetings, and developing effectiveness metrics for the website.Web Maintenance & DesignManage website design, organization, and content presentation.Provide web design support to maintain current structure or update the website with AFPIMS requirements.Monthly verify that HTML links are active.Regularly review content for accuracy, recommend updates, and archive new content.Respond to inquiries captured via the website, track response metrics, and distribute approved responses.Post approved content to the website, intranet, and portal according to the editorial calendar or program milestones.Graphic Design & Visual ImagesAll graphic design work and visual images should be free of errors, visual noise, blurriness, or any other issues that obstruct the intended view.Images shall meet the highest professional quality for review and approval.All deliverables shall comply with Section 508 requirements for accessibility.Website & Electronic MediaAll website and electronic media work shall follow the standards set forth above and be free of coding errors and fully functional.Required SkillsExperience in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.Experience using MS Office Suite and managing documents and files within SharePoint.Experience updating government website using AFPIMS; AFPIMS certification required within first 30 days.Experience working with Military requirements.Job DetailsType of Job:Full TimeSalary:Competitive salaryAttractive Benefits Package:Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), HSA/FSA, LTD/STD, PTO, Federal HolidaysWork Location:Washington, DC (Hybrid)Company DescriptionNetwork Runners, Inc. is an Information Technology Solutions Company providing innovative IT solutions and organizational support within the DOD and the Civil sector.
