Office Manager

Tasks include: composing letters and reports, revising brochures and publicity materials, review correspondence for accuracy and completeness, develop form letters and reply to inquiries, work with volunteers, make trips to the bank and post office, manage Peace House building rentals, and secure materials to conduct office activities. The Office Manager works closely with the Executive Director, and the Board Personnel Committee by default. Reconcile monthly accounts/ bank statements for Peace House; Peace House Restricted Funds and Joint Committee(three separate bank accounts.) 9) Communications: Develop a clear understanding of the channels of communication needed to support the relationship with the Executive Director and the Board of Directors according to agreed upon protocols, through phone, email, and other forms of written communication. INITIATIVE IN FULFILLING ORGANIZATIONAL GOALS: The Office Manager recognizes and brings to the attention of the Executive Director issues pertaining to office and accounts management, payroll, and daily operations, and displays initiative in resolving problems as they occur, in consultation with the Director.
