The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of direct mail formats, print production, and multichannel marketing strategies to help drive response rates and improve campaign performance.Type: ContractSchedule: Hybrid, around 35 hours per weekPay: $38 - $42/hr, paid weeklyPrint / Direct Mail Designer DutiesDesign high-impact direct mail materials for insurance products, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and compliance requirements.Develop full direct mail kits, including outer envelopes, letters, business reply envelopes (BRE), and inserts.Incorporate key direct mail design elements such as Johnson boxes, tip-on cards, headlines, and supporting content areas.Translate complex insurance offerings into clear, visually compelling communications.Create variations to support testing strategies and optimize response rates.Prepare accurate, print-ready files following postal regulations and production best practices.Utilize variable data printing (VDP) techniques to personalize direct mail campaigns.Collaborate with copywriters, marketing teams, compliance reviewers, and project managers to deliver clear, effective, and legally compliant materials.Support integration of direct mail with broader marketing efforts, such as digital follow-ups and call center scripts.Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and accommodating revisions.Print / Direct Mail Designer Requirements2+ years of experience in direct mail design, ideally within insurance or financial services.Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).Must have a strong portfolio demonstrating successful direct mail campaigns, preferably in insurance or financial sectors.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools (such as Salesforce).Understanding of direct response principles, including how design impacts conversions (CTAs, QR codes, personalized URLs).Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards specific to insurance marketing.Experience with print production processes, postal guidelines, and finishing techniques.Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally within fast-paced project timelines.No deadline to apply.
