Operations Associate at Experimental Music Organization

By fostering cross-cultural exchange and creative dialogue, and by encouraging exploration of areas in new music seldom touched upon by mainstream music institutions, Other Minds is committed to expanding and reshaping the definition of what constitutes “serious music.” Founded in 1993, Other Minds in San Francisco is a leading organization for new and experimental music, devoted to championing the most original, eccentric, and underrepresented creative voices in contemporary music, with an emphasis on composers of the American Experimental Tradition. This is a part-time position, approximately 30 hours/week. The Operations Associate reports to the Associate Director and functions as an office and project administrator to ensure the timely scheduling and implementation of the multiple programs of Other Minds. Once trained, the Operations Associate should be able, for the most part, to run the administrative functions of the office in the absence of the AD.
