Are you an early-career graphic designer who wants to do more than create social media posts and marketing collateral?

We’re looking for a Packaging & Documentation Designer to join a growing team in Theodore, AL. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity ideal for a recent graphic design graduate or junior designer who enjoys visual problem-solving, layout, print production, and turning complex information into clear, polished designs.

The primary focus of the role is packaging and graphic design, with additional responsibility for creating and maintaining technical and manufacturing documentation.

What You’ll Do

Packaging & Graphic Design

Design product packaging from concept through print-ready productionCreate layouts and templates for shipping boxes, pallets, and logistics labelsDevelop digital product mockups and virtual samples for presentations and customer approvalsCreate visual guides, line drawings, and step-by-step instructional materialsPhotograph products and prototypes for documentation and visual recordsTechnical & Manufacturing Documentation

Write clear assembly and manufacturing instructionsCreate and update material and product specification sheetsMaintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure documentation reflects current part informationProcess and organize design changes, revisions, and temporary updatesMaintain project histories, testing documentation, sample logs, and related recordsCollaboration

Work closely with team members across design, manufacturing, and technical functionsHelp ensure visual materials and written documentation remain accurate, consistent, and up to dateWhat We’re Looking For

Associate degree in Graphic Design or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferredProficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesignStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong visual design fundamentals, including:Page layoutTypographyGraphic placementPrint preparationExcellent attention to detailAbility to accurately coordinate written and visual informationStrong organizational and time-management skillsComfortable balancing creative projects with structured documentation and deadlinesWhy This Role?
