This role combines strategic thinking and creative execution to deliver packaging designs that align with brand standards, communicate value to end-users, and meet retail regulatory requirements. Working cross-functionally with product managers, marketing teams, and suppliers, they bring consistency and clarity to the brand’s presence across various packaging formats including boxes, labels, and in-store displays.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Packaging Design Execution:Create compelling and informative designs for tool packaging across various formats including boxes, clamshells, and blister packs.Ensure all designs maintain consistency with brand guidelines and visual identity.Brand Alignment:Collaborate with marketing team to translate strategic direction into cohesive packaging visuals.Maintain consistency in tone, color, typography, and messaging across all packaging touchpoints.Retail & Shelf Impact:Design packaging that maximizes shelf presence and customer engagement in retail environments.Incorporate competitive benchmarking and visual differentiation to enhance in-store visibility.Technical File Preparation:Prepare accurate dielines and production-ready artwork with precise bleed, trim, and fold lines.Ensure all files meet printer specifications and are optimized for cost-effective production.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with product managers to understand technical product specifications and feature highlights.Coordinate with external vendors and printers to troubleshoot issues and maintain quality standards.Compliance & Labeling:Apply regulatory labels and safety icons required by local and international packaging laws.Work with legal and compliance teams to verify content accuracy before production.Product Photography Integration:Integrate product photography into packaging layouts, ensuring clarity and correct usage angles.Work with photographers to art direct key shots when necessary.Innovation & Cost Reduction:Propose new materials, packaging structures, and visual treatments to improve functionality and reduce costs.Participate in brainstorming sessions to explore sustainable packaging alternatives.Project & Timeline Management:Manage multiple packaging projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.Use project management tools to communicate progress and meet key delivery milestones.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.1-2 years of experience in packaging design, preferably in tools, hardware, or consumer goods.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).Strong understanding of print production processes and packaging materials.Experience working with dielines and preparing production-ready files.Familiarity with retail packaging requirements and merchandising principles.Excellent attention to detail, layout composition, and typography.Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.Knowledge of packaging compliance, labeling standards, and safety regulations.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionArt/Creative and DesignIndustriesWholesale Building Materials and ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at OX Group Global by 2xInferred from the description for this jobMedical insuranceVision insurance401(k)Get notified when a new job is posted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
