At GWPG, you’ll feel the difference and be able to make a difference The Role You’ll Play As a Packaging Machine and Equipment Technician, you maintain and troubleshoot our fully and semi- automatic Tray Former systems, Strappers, Conveyor systems, Sealing, Stacker, and Feeder packaging machines and equipment in support of our production teams making and delivering our customers’ packaging needs and solutions. What You’ll Do • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines in the performance of all job duties and responsibilities • Properly diagnose and troubleshoot machine/equipment failures to accurately determine cause of breakdowns • Perform correct and timely repairs to fix machine/equipment breakdowns • Conduct preventive maintenance of machines/equipment to reduce unexpected failures and machine/equipment down time • After performing preventive maintenance and / or trouble shooting, properly test machine/equipment to ensure it operates correctly • Use pneumatic, power and hand tools to carry out equipment maintenance and repair responsibilities.
