Packaging Production Graphic Designer

The start date is ASAP for this contract position. Job Title: Packaging Production Graphic Designer Location-Type: REMOTE (EST/CST preferred) Start Date Is: ASAP Duration: 3 Month Contract Compensation Range: $35-$38/hr W2 Job Description: Support high-volume packaging updates by creating accurate, print-ready production files for consumer goods products. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: • Create and prepare print-ready packaging files with proper color, layout, and specifications • Roll out and adapt artwork across multiple SKUs using established templates • Extend and resize packaging designs across formats while maintaining brand standards • Review and correct artwork for errors before prepress • Apply knowledge of offset, flexographic, and gravure printing processes • Ensure all regulatory, legal, and branding elements are accurate • Review and edit color proofs for quality and consistency • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver final production files • Manage multiple high-priority projects with tight deadlines Requirements: • Must-Haves: • 4 years of packaging production design experience within Client • Strong expertise in packaging production artwork and prepress setup • Proven ability to manage 2–3 SKUs per day in a fast-paced environment • High attention to detail with strong quality control mindset • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) • Experience with printing processes (offset, flexographic, gravure) • Strong understanding of layout, typography, dielines, and color management • Access to Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) • Access to Adobe Creative Cloud subscription • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently • Nice-to-Haves: • Experience working with packaging for tableware, storage, or similar products • Familiarity with barcode updates and regulatory packaging requirements • Experience working in high-volume production environments • Background as a production artist
