You will be responsible for partnering with our Corporate Operations Team, VP of Marketing, General Managers and Chefs to create strategies for each property then collaborating with and coordinating the efforts of, our Digital Marketing Manager and Social Media Manager to execute the initiatives for our individual brands. Two days per week are required to be in the Home Office, which is situated in San Rafael, CA *_** **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** · Work in collaboration with VP Marketing to establish or refine individual property strategy and annual marketing plans, leading efforts to execute and ensure accountability and follow through · Own the relationship and be the prime contact with key partners on our Restaurant & Operations Team to create solid and relevant marketing plans · Collaborate alongside Social Media Consultant to provide strategy direction and supplemental content · Proactively plan and execute marketing initiatives for new projects, remodels and rebranding campaigns · Lead and collaborate with Digital Marketing Manager to execute all digital platform efforts · Develop and Manage annual marketing budgets for individual properties considering ROI of initiatives and platforms · Refine Marketing plans and report on progress quarterly · Provide increased and special support for critical/vulnerable properties as needed · Assess and develop asset library for individual brands · Manage brand promotions to drive sales · Conduct or direct regular research analysis of existing and new digital marketing platforms to determine effectiveness · Manage advertising and partnership development for specific properties · Utilize Canva to develop property design collateral needs for eblasts, in- store and grassroots efforts · Approve all local print advertising and manage graphic designers on ad creation · Develop and implement in-store marketing materials as appropriate **REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:** · Exceptional written and verbal communication skills · Strong copy writing skills and ability to develop and apply tone of voice · Basic use of Canva · Understanding of social media platforms, strategy and scheduling tools · Creative mindset with ability to develop memorable events, promotions and campaigns · Dynamic team player with great collaborative and interpersonal skills · Strong personal leadership, organizational, relationship building and negotiation skills · Self-starter who can work independently: displays self-confidence, enthusiasm and strong customer service orientation · Demonstrated effectiveness in working in a complex, service-intensive, deadline-driven environment · Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize and follow through · Extremely detail-oriented while juggling multiple projects and many stakeholders · Exercises good judgment and recognizes opportunities to learn from mistakes · Thinks clearly and quickly, maintain concentration and make concise decisions in pressure situations **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** · 5+ years of related work experience, in the hospitality industry (local and multi-unit) · Ability to travel on occasion to visit properties, meet with contacts in each market and drive marketing agendas (10%) · Working knowledge of basic graphic design tools preferred for minor touch ups, but not required **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** · Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in business, marketing or related major is preferred but not required · Prior restaurant work experience
