Part-Time Graphic Designer I, Multimedia

• Assists the lead graphic designer and videographer on campus-wide and departmental projects, such as student life, clubs, and organizations • Streamlines Canva templates to ensure consistency and keep them updated • Assists with managing incoming graphic requests in the Service Now platform to maintain a smooth workflow • Coordinates with the Web/Design Coordinator to ensure the execution of various digital media designs, including DMS, E-blast graphics, and the iBelong campaign • Assists in unifying social media platforms by incorporating the LSC system branding (stories, highlights, weekly announcements, etc.) • Knowledge of industry-standard tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Canva • Knowledge of font selection, pairing, and usage for effective communication • Knowledge of color psychology, harmonies, and how colors impact perception • Skills in conveying messages effectively through visuals • Ability to find creative solutions to design challenges • Ability to ensure accuracy and quality in designs • Willingness to learn new design trends and techniques • Proficiency in industry-standard design software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma (or a similar cloud-based tool) • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter) and their best practices for visual content • Proficiency in UX/UI design principles, with experience using Figma, Sketch, or other relevant design tools The work is sedentary.
