Under direction, promotes the City’s programs and services through various advertising, marketing, outreach, and promotional campaigns using print media, social media, and other communication platforms; creates original graphic and written content to enhance public awareness of City initiatives. Employee will be provided a computer to perform work. • Collaborates with the team to write a variety of content including press releases, public service announcements, newsletters, brochures, annual reports, and other educational and promotional materials. • Possess or be in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Media Production, Graphic Design, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related degree or equivalent experience. • Principles and practices of effective graphic design, writing, photography, video and marketing and communications.
