Part-Time Graphic Designer

IU Jacobs School of Music is seeking a talented and creative graphic designer to join our team on a part-time basis, contributing to the visual identity and communication strategies of our brand across both digital and print platforms. • Assists with website design, updates and copy changes in the IU WCMS. • Serves as web content support, updating content on the Jacobs website, providing website assistance to offices and departments across the school, and if needed, support faculty and staff on the use of the Website Content Management System (WCMS), and the Indiana University web framework. Required • Strong portfolio • Proven experience as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio showcasing web and print design projects • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), technology, and website management • Experience updating websites across various platforms • Experience designing promotional materials • Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to take creative direction and incorporate feedback effectively • Organizational and problem-solving skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and within a team environment • Time management skills including the ability to multitask, manage a range of priorities, and meet deadlines in a busy environment • Ability to manage time, prioritize and set goals Work Location Indiana University is an equal employment and affirmative action employer and a provider of ADA services.
