Part-Time Junior Graphic Designer

We’re hiring a Part-Time Junior Graphic Designer in San Diego to support our marketing team across multiple hospitality brands. A big plus would be someone who also has experience with food photography or event photography. Details: • Part-time (15–25 hours per week) • $24–$30 per hour depending on experience • San Diego-based role • Potential for this position to move into full-time If you’re interested or know someone who might be a good fit, please send a portfolio and resume. & Key Responsibilities • Design marketing assets including: • Event flyers and promotional graphics • Social media creative • Email marketing visuals • Print materials such as menus, signage, and one-sheets • Website graphics as needed • Work within established brand guidelines across multiple hospitality concepts • Prepare print-ready layouts using Adobe InDesign • Resize and format creative assets for multiple digital platforms • Assist with campaign launches, events, and marketing initiatives • Maintain organized design files and templates Photography (Preferred but not required) • Assist with food photography for menus and campaigns • Capture event photography for marketing and social media • Edit and prepare images for marketing use Photography equipment and licenses will be provided by the marketing department. & Qualifications • 1–3 years of graphic design experience (freelance, agency, or in-house) • Proficiency in: • Adobe InDesign • Adobe Photoshop • Adobe Illustrator • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and brand consistency • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines • Strong attention to detail and organization • Hospitality, restaurant, or lifestyle brand experience is a plus • Photography experience is a strong plus but not required What We're Looking For • Someone who works quickly and accurately • A designer who understands hospitality, food, and event marketing • Strong creative instincts with a production mindset • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving marketing environment
