Part-time Office Administrator

Job Summary: Manage functions in a small but busy office economically and efficiently, manage facilities use, organize work, establish priorities, and maintain and coordinate good interpersonal relations and communication with Pastors, employees, and the congregation. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to Pastor(s) as needed; attend to correspondence, facilitate non-financial file management, copying, responding to phone calls, and creating and sending weekly email newsletter. Office Duties: Perform general office tasks including respond to phone and e-mail inquiries, distribute mail, maintain master calendar, maintain membership database and records, coordinate congregational mailings, order needed office supplies, coordinate with The Bell (monthly newsletter) editor, post news articles to the church’s newsblog, create Facebook “events,” create and maintain a list of announcements, etc. Worship Preparations: As the church continues to experiment with hybrid worship services, these duties will shift. Experience with Office 365 and graphic design experience desirable, but not required.
