PART TIME Sign Production Assistant

The ability to work with your hands in a production area is also very important. Any schooling or work experience in graphic design would also be a plus. Must be comfortable working with X-actos and other cutting equipment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Mask, weed and apply vinyl to various sign materials * Properly and efficiently use an X-Acto knife and ruler * Load and cut vinyl on a plotter * Apply vehicle and window graphics * Travel to local Chicagoland sites for installations * Assist with daily packaging and shipping of products * Some general office help as assigned * Some light graphic design work on a computer is possible JOB REQUIREMENTS * High School Graduate or GED required * Light graphic design experience or education a plus * WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON * Strong computer skills a plus * Strong math and spelling skills * Excellent communication skills including verbal and written * Strong customer service skills * Very Strong Attention to Detail a plus * Prompt, reliable and responsible * Must be able to lift 35 pounds from time to time * Skilled in working with your hands for product fabrication * Friendly, easy going with a positive attitude * Able to work well under pressure and output high volume, high quality work * Able to use power equipment PERKS * Some Flexibility in the work schedule * Competitive Entry Level Pay $13 - 15 per Hour - Depending on Experience * Employee Product Discount * Paid Training - We will train the right candidate * Light Graphic Design experience and design production environment * Small family owned business - casual attire We are a highly creative, friendly, business casual work environment.
