PCB Layout Designer

We are seeking experienced, Northeast Ohio PCB Layout candidates to apply for the role of PCB Layout Designer. Essential Functions • Libraries management, PCB Layout, component placement review and approval • Develop PCB layout solutions • Leads PCB layout reviews (Including high speed feedback, e.g. crosstalk analysis and best practice strategies) • Work with cross-functional product development teams in supporting product development • Maintain PADS libraries • Keeping up to date on latest PCB material, layer construction, manufacturing guidelines, and implementing into design as applicable • Electronic components selection and qualification through collaboration with the engineering team • Create engineering documentation that allows the manufacturing of PCBAs, including schematics, bills of materials, assembly drawings • Working in a multi-disciplinary team, consisting of electrical hardware and mechanical engineers • Participate in periodic departmental and program meetings to ensure continuity and cohesion amongst the team • Demonstrate the ability to respect and support colleagues at all levels. Competencies Or Experience Requirements Mandatory • Minimum of 5 years of relevant career experience • Advanced proficiency in CAD-related software (Altium, PADS, Xpedition, and others if possible) • The ability and desire to ‘flex’ between military, medical, consumer, and industrial product types.
